The Virts are the virtual worlds of 2084. It is now possible to, if you really wanted to, spend all of your life inside a simulation. Most people work inside simulations of the future to acquire Futures, but there are also immersive worlds developed for fun and pleasure. Almost all popular forms of entertainment exist in the Virts. There are also realms in the Virts that are unknown and purely speculative such as the legendary realms of the Elctori and Robo Hell. Transhumanists, with use of the MESH, are trying to access these realms and believe that the Virts hold the future for the survival of humanity.
